Ultima RS (1217 PS) specs

Ultima has been sold to US firm Peregryn Motors, after 41 years of independent british ownership. Sad day for independent car manufacturing, if i recall correctly all thats left is Hennessey. https://peregrynmotors.us/

@humana - why do you say they have finished all ultima RS production? I thought they are still taking orders and making kits?

What's the price of this beast when I was in 6th grade I was like "I want this car so badly".

I'll come back to this little car another time. See if we can get some actual metrics, verified ones. I just might watch the Nigel "series" but just not yet!

I still have no idea how this is street legal..

I just realized the weight of this car and god Gordon Murray would love this car and this teams accomplishments. 2,050 pounds is truly mind blowing but is a car with 1 hp per pound possible because this car would have to make 2,050 horsepower and I don't want an answer which comes to the conclusion of a dragster type thing.

Even if the Corvette loses we are talking about a car that barely is a road car competing with a possibly 3,800 pound car due to say the Z06 has a 3,545 pound curb weight. The eletric motors would have a possible 250 pounds making the ZORA close to 3,800 pounds but then the Corvette is better because after one lap in the RS you will have a killing headache where the C8 will be more comfortable but still fast.

True but the stick shift makes it seem slow but the ZORA is getting the same DCT as the normal C8 maybe tweaked and then the AWD makes it rocket to speeds faster and all of it combined makes it close. But the 1,000 horsepower RS may be to hard the 800 bhp one could be a fair competitor it would be a nice race non the less and then again this is harsh while the C8 is smooth.

Are these available is left hand drive for us Americans
