That's not bad for a mid-size sedan.

In the same time it is pretty heavy... something sedan /sport coupe/ liftback.?

Wow. That's just 0.3 seconds slower than the brand new, much lighter Audi S3. And I thought the Passat R36 was really quick back in the day.

Yeah, it's announced for December. What surprises me is that the stats are shockingly similar to the Opel Insignia OPC from over 10 years ago. 320 hp, about the same size and width, AWD Turbo, etc.

But difference is 10 years ago they were using a big V6 turbo (if not twin turbo). Today its more compact and lighter (and boring) Inline 4.

The sad truth is, unless they don't have a premium badge they can't put more than 250 hp or 2.0 4 cylinder in the car. At least usually. VW is kind of the exception here, and Opel. Meanwhile Audi and BMW get all the good and powerful stuff. Or they just straight up scrap the idea of a middle class sedan because they can't keep up with the competition and/or SUVs. Ford might scrap the Mondeo soon for another shitty crossover.

Mondeo is already stopped production.
