@Hoppelmoppel123 do you know where the 100-200 kph figure is from? It seems a bit optimistic imo

The car who made me a car love and is responsible for the love I have towards cars is the legendary Bugatti Veyron and Veyron Super Sport after looking up the fastest car when I was seven. Because I was curious and I watched the legendary videos of James May from the legendary Top Gear doing top speed runs. Seeing the speed of these I watched more and more. What car made you a car nerd and lover and why?
Bugatti4Life 4y ago
Sorry if I get annoying I tend to talk a lot and even more with it comes to cars I'm just such a big fan of these companies. Their are some I don't like but that's a very very rare case.

My dad put his name down on one of these and it will be our 5th most powerful car. Least powerful car my parents own is a 2019 Mazda CX-5 (187 horsepower). Next is our future Volkswagen Golf R with (315 horsepower). After that is our old but still solid 2013 Audi S4 with the dynamic steering upgrade good for a solid (333 horsepower). Next is our 2020 Camaro 2SS with a 6.2 liter N/A cross plane crank V8 good for a huge (455 horsepower. Second place is our future M3 Competition X-Drive (503 horsepower). And then my dads dream car our future Corvette C8 Z06 with a massive (670 horsepower). I'm not 100% if he will get all of these but if he does get those three cars I will be both excited and proud of him. But lord r.i.p their earnings jk but lord that's gonna sting.

Around the Nurburgring, the Mk.VII Golf R has the potential to make as much as 54% (or 1/0.65) more power. This is called tirepower and it also has impact on the chassis more than even engine horsepower does. 590 tirepower
Refer to this solution:
((20600m/(250km/h/(187m*0.3048m))x(1651kg/384hp)/1.23g)x0.0095x0.65

Why are there two lap times ?
First one does not make sense for such a heavy car.

Alright boys, I put all the data of German C segment powerhouses into one list 😎 by power houses I don't mean entry level GTIs, but instead the most powerful cars Germany had to offer around this time.
European hatches will follow soon. Including Seat which is technically Spanish.

Volkswagen would NEVER lie about anything! Give me one example of these "lies?" It'll probably turn into a list!
LOL, anyway a UK specialist dyno'd a Volkswagen Golf R and they got AT THE CRANKSHAFT not wheels, 340hp and 320lbs/ft.
So about +25hp and +10lbs/ft torque on what Volkswagen claim accordingly to the new example used with a few hundred miles on it PLUS Shell V Power which is 99 rated octane fuel anyway so the differences on 95 could possibly be negligible.
Like I said you can trust Volkswagen.

Track? How many days/year is ANYONE on a track. This is a pathetic obsession with a place that is meaningless in the real world. Track. Hahahaha
FactFinder 5y ago
The European Mark VIII Golf R has 420 N/310 lb.ft torque. However, in the U.S. the torque goes down to 400 N/295 lb.ft with the 7-speed DSG or 380N/280 lb.ft. with the 6-speed manual. The difference in torque is due to the difference between the U.S. and European gasoline qualities. I assume that the 6-speed manual’s engine torque is lowered in order to accommodate the manual gearbox’s clutch’s limitations.

What an impressive performance for a comfortable daily driver. Shame on Ford, Chevrolet, not even their V8 Mustangs and Camaros are as fast as this shopping machine with 4 doors and seats and still able to run faster than them around tracks as well.
Big shame for Ford as their 350 HP Focus RS has been annihilated by Volkswagen and Honda and Renault. I feel Ford is officially the worst hot hatch maker in Europe down from 1 of the best.
