Why do so many crossovers now look the same from front? This unified single eyebrow and separate headlight clusters between it on both sides.

I do like the look, btw, I am not complaining about aesthetics, but rather about how similar they look with each other.

Who started this trend? BMWs look like that too - the new 7 series, X7 etc.

emm, the chinese manufacturers love the ugly and strange design. they give up the ice, and make no air intake, a unified single eyebrow and separate headlight clusters, the neck-through taillight... they don't care whether their cars are beautiful, what they care about is the cost. as i said before, they only make products or tools that called cars. and they like boasting of the "data" which may be fake, or something they can't make. we call the phenomenon "powerpoint car-making".

"Powerpoint carmaking" lol.

Probably another form of this is only concentrating on flashy headline numbers - like making insane claimed peak power outputs for electric cars. 1000 PS pickup trucks etc. Like anybody needs that much or it can be used practically without destroying the battery, power electronics or mechanicals.

Exactly. I suppose you don't know the new Aian Hyper SSR. They claim that it can produce 1225hp and 12000nm torque, but on wheels, which is the outdated trick started from tesla. According to the manufacturer, it is "the fastest car on the earth" for its acceleration from 0-100kph in 1.9s and with only a small spoiler -maybe spoil-er is more accurate, is faster than McLaren 720s. I bet they cannot make an actual car.

I've been tracking it. And an Italian and American one. It's just not that simple. Well, to get headlines it is!

“world’s fastest-charging mass-production SUV.” According to the automaker, 480 kW supercharging stations can give the crossover up to 124 miles (200 km) of range in as little as five minutes. That’s blazingly fast and it means the battery can go from a 10–80% charge in a mere 15 minutes.

Good luck finding a charger capable of 480kW 😝

Edit: Can this use Tesla superchargers?
