Civic for sure. Have never really been a fan of how the Golfs of recent generations handle. Also the Mk VIII seems to be abysmal in terms of reliability. Every single person around me that has one had some significant downtime with it.

I put the Honda, it seems to be even more fun

That being said, I do have a soft spot for the FK8 Type R Limited Edition

Since these two hot hatches have similar lap times, acceleration, and top speed, it all came down to styling for me. I like the styling of the Golf slightly more, so it got my vote.

These are hot hatchbacks, not sports cars. You should have added the Megane RS Trophy R as well.

Overall though I'm not a big fan of FF "sports" cars. Sure it goes fast, but with a slight weight adder it can go even faster and handle much more fun.
