When I was a kid, I was told that Jupiter is so big that it nearly became a star... Of course, many years later I realised it's still much smaller than our Sun, but only now did I realise (after a google search) how much smaller... Damn... it's not even 0.1% the mass of Sun. I would have thought it would be like 1-2%.
