those who chose halogen are living in a basement or spend too much time in a warehouse without ventilation.

I would refuse to be kidnapped if the light in my holding cell would not have the right color temperature.

Having used everything from old to new headlights, I totally get why they push standard light bars and matrix LEDs in cars now.
You can just see, way way too much. It's too effective. A very convincing seller as one single feature of the car.
Granted the tech still has a long way to go, it's already pretty damn smart, and now being automated to a pretty significant extent, boy is it convenient. It's really nice. But I have always kept myself diligent to turn them off if they shine on a car or person incorrectly.
So is it truly better? Yeah, tbh it's a lot better 95% of the time. But at the end of the day, I would prefer a more yellowed or cream colour to these LEDs, which they absolutely could do and very easy to do. Much nicer on the eyes for oncoming traffic and it doesn't affect your eyes as much, granted doesn't keep you as awake though (less blue light) but who cares, it's less fatiguing being softer light; which also helps keep you awake too. More favourable.
But we all know the real reason they won't do it. It's just not as "new" looking. Dumb reason imo.

White or warm white. Although I wouldn't mind slightly bluish xenons. I think xenon lights are still the "coolest" - literally and figuratively.
They are most expensive to make and that bluish coldish beam used to be sign of upmarket car.
Today LEDs are ubiquidous and regular halogens dying out.
