Aston is Maserati if they kept that coolness factor from the 60s. I see it more like an Italian Mercedes. I don't think there's really an Italian car that you can compare with Aston as it is. Maybe Ferrari but then again only the Roma or Amalfi.

Maserati is direct competitor to Aston and Merc.

Most of the time they don't even have the power, luxury or exclusivity to match Aston.
Not saying they're bad, but I don't really see them as rivals.

I see them mostly as a Porsche equivalent, more prestigious than Mercedes but not by much

(and Aston is on an entirely different level)

Not really sure if F80 and Valkyrie are comparable, but yeah I guess they exist

I'm not one to judge or compare interior quality but I guess you can see it that way.

One is a super polished track car, other one is an unfinished prototype

I like both, they make beautiful cars. However, Aston Martin won Le Mans in the year that I was born so they get my vote. I also prefer Aston Martin due to the James Bond films, they were a big influence on my career choices.
