Likely for a Hennessey HPE700 model, not a stock one. Motor Trend knew the October 2004 test car wasn't stock. It can't be true that it's only 0.1 and 0.2 seconds slower in the quarter-mile than a Carrera GT and an Enzo.
Motor Trend got 11.6 @ 126.1 and 11.5 @ 128.7, with the latter being recognized by Ford themself. It's not doing low-11's, 130-mph trap speed quarter-mile times even if it makes 630 actual hp. In one test it was even slower than the 2003 Viper, which did an 11.77 to the 2005 GT's 11.78.
If a Mercedes-McLaren SLR and a Maserati MC12 can't do this, then obviously neither can the Ford GT. It's only marginally quicker than the Ferrari F430 anyway.
