Kinda underwhelming tbh. I mean they are fast cars and have great sound, but what's the point of buying one of these over a 911 when it's even slower than a Carrera?

If you care about track times then you buy the Performance verison with Performance Parts equipped and not the weakest R8 RWD for purists.

Well, I'd much rather own a "slower" RWD V10 R8, than buy just another common 911 C2S.
I'd certainly much rather drive the NA V10 R8 than a turbo charged flat 6.
