claimed to have racing suspension, can’t wait to see what journalists have to say about ride quality. Also could become even better track weapon, if equipped with slicks, basically cup car

If it's actually faster than the 991.2 gt3rs despite being less hard-core, kudos to Porsche. The actual magazine tests will tell if that's the case or not

Where is the passenger seat? :)

it seems the factory is still using the same old cheap tricks, when it comes to the fastest lap times and torturing seats around the ring.

not sure if one can take them seriously any more, unless you're a diehard vw-911 fanboy that will never own one (which is a fact), which could lead us to open up another door filled with all sorts of bs stories with zoomers backing them up with zero credibility and by end of the day, he/she/they drive(s) a fwd and talk(s) all sorts of serious smack :)

a factory car checked at least over 20 times before sending over to spoof auto

You gotta bear in mind that Lars Kern was driving and he is probably the fastest Porsche driver on planet Earth. That coupled with more downforce and fresh Cup2R's is enough to go that fast without cheating. Gebhardt from Sport Auto would be 10 sec slower in the same car :)

christy gebhardt needs to be demobilized immediatley, his driving skills is nowhere near a factory driver nor is he good with analog cars. not sure why they chose this young zoomer over the old fart hvs that got critical about a certain domestic brand and got booted, that's free speech for you in old ? or shall i say the 21st century deutsches reich :)

Lol using a super safe bucket seat is cheating? The other seat is still there. The entertainment interface is all there...

As oppose to those test cars where they remove front and back passenger seats, remove the radio, etc.

You sound like someone talking about how NBA players cheat by being tall.

the torturing seat alone makes a big difference in driving experience and helps set faster lap times + advantage in having lighter seats that is not possible to order isn't considered 100% stock.

nba players are born that way, you don't decided how tall you will end up being at the age of xx, nobody tied their arms and legs and forced them to stretch by force in their youth.

To be fair to Gebhardt he's one of the better journo drivers out there and i gotta say his Senna lap at Hockenheim was outstanding and surprised me. Problem is he can't drive Lambo's as is evident from his lap times in the Performante, Evo and SVJ.

check the lotus video and judge for yourself, i won't say it's just lambo's but almost 90% of non-domestic cars.

he's good when he's being told to be good, like a loyal woofhoof

That seat would not weigh more than 10lbs more than the other seat, likely less than that. That's miniscule. Funny you call it a torturing seat, when in fact that seat is what's going to help save the driver's life if things go wrong, and I'm sure the driver would PREFER to have that seat than a stock one. So test drivers like to be tortured?

Why don't you go on about all the cars that have roll cages? The sense of safety allows them to do their job and worry less about losing their lives. If you don't like it, you are very much allowed to start your own media and test cars to your own standards.

why use a racing seat when you can’t order one ? what’s the point of such racing seat if it’s only allowed to be used in their cup cars only ?

why would you think i wouldn’t like it ?

rollcages are part of a clubsport package which is optional and can be added on a production car, unlike the full bucket seat which is used for marketing purpose to prove how fast their cars are in a gt car. why not put back the available lightweight seat and get back behind the wheels and show us the big difference and how much driver movement will be involved which he could feel like being tossed left and right, in other words, he needs to decelerate sooner and that could cost him couple of seconds here and there.

if you still can’t comprehend, that’s your problem.

considering how much time is lost on those straights and uphill sections. It'll be very interesting to see how the new GT3RS can be faster without having a big jump in power.
