To be fair the p zeroes aren’t great and switching to Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres would reduce about 5 seconds or so

Slower than a base model Gallardo. That's really not good.

That’s weird tho the F Type seems to do pretty decent on other tracks, maybe nordschleife ain’t the right track for it

Maybe the driver never wanted to risk his life?

That's why the Hellcat NEVER got tested on this track, and this one is essentially a two-seat version of a British Challenger Hellcat.

i wouldnt go that far, the f type r awd has put in some pretty decent lap times for its power to weight ratio...

For example:
https://fastestlaps.com/tests/k51j832f7oue
and
https://fastestlaps.com/tests/il37u2181lct

I can guarantee on these tracks the Hellcat would have no hope of getting close to the F Type, which is why I'm shocked at this lap Nurburgring time.

Because the Nurburgring is half a circuit and half a straight-line track. Both of those tracks are plain circruits. Use summer tires instead of crappy all-seasons, the Hellcat will do 7:49-7:51.

I dont think a widebody can corner well enough to do a sub-8. Not only that, the faux drag tires that all models use kill any ability corner. A demon is not making a sub at 7:50, a hellcat is probably doing slightly worse, probably around 7:55 if not a 8:00.

Which is not bad at all. Even SUPERCARS cannot do better than a 7:50 (i.e. 360CS/F430, OG Gallardo/Murciélago, Ford GT), and those are cars from the same era this LX chassis traces back to.

Personally, I consider ANYTHING UNDER 8 minutes to be very quick. Under 7:45 is EXCEPTIONALLY quick.
