That is slow. Who should we believe? Americans claiming it does 10.5’s or Euros who claim it’s slower than the M5 or E63 by a wide margin?

The Tesla Model S P100Dhas been tested in the 10.5-10.8 rrange by mutiple magizines and youtube drag racers.

I think it depends also on how well battery is conditioned. State of charge, temperature of battery, outside temperature etc.

So there will be variance, as always. Perhaps even more than for ICE cars.

The Model S takes up to 30 minutes (according to Top Gear Magazine) to warm up for Ludicrous+ launches! Meanwhile, the Taycan Turbo S can run 2.5s 0-60mph sprints over and over until the charge runs out.

Exactly. Taycan is much better performance car. But Tesla has better range and battery and that is more important for most people. And they are both more or less equal in acceleration.

Incorrect there is clear evidence that once the battery power starts to degrade it gets slower which is the norm for all EV's..fact!

The edit function isn't working, again but i wanted to qualify my statement by saying that the Porsche batteries hold up far better to continuous max acceleration passes than the Tesla does. It's below 70% available power that the performance starts to drop off and progressively gets worse as the battery power levels drop further.

Which S P100D is that? In Europe you can get the Ludicrous one?

User avatar

FastestLaps  1w ago @Tracker

It is listed as Ludicrous model with 610 PS.

And tyler was refering that 10.5-10.8 to?
And that 0-200km/h is biggest BS I've seen for CP, not even tuned AC Snitzer, G Power does that, hence I said this test is wrong.

Yup, edit is still not working

Yep the edit function has been retired to the all too hard basket...
