A fact which people chose NOT to mention when bitching about a Corvette. Its pretty hilarious that some people START hating on a Corvette when it gets the same upgrades as its Competition...and starts Beating them, its really sad to be honest, and isnt called for. But, the worlds filled with Ignorant people, so it cant be helped.

Agreed. There's really no reason not to at least have semi-slicks as an option. Even if the car has near-perfect traction all the time, like the GT-R and 911 Turbo S, there will always be customers who want a bit more, and are willing to pay for it, so why not give it to them? Could say the same about Corvette seats, but that's being taken care of in the C7, so I'll leave it alone.

People think(Dumbass People) think using a pair of grippy tyres(Even when there competition uses them) cheat, which is quite hilariouis, But they all forget its COMPETITION uses the same type of tyres(As listed) AND! they also forget, the Vette DOESNT have an advanced 4wd system, DCT, Tech to make you look better, and Big Bhp, stripped out interior, as EVERY car EXCEPT ONE (GT3RS 4.0) has those over the Vette.

Its funny how people bitch about the tyres...yet, its the ONLY thing they bitch about...If a Vette had Super Electronics, a DCT, 4wd, stripped out non essentials, 600Bhp+, DF Essentials, Nothing short of a Radical would stand a chance, But im glad it doesnt have all those.

I swear, People these days...

At this point, every supercar should offer road legal R compounds as an option. It's just stupid not to. Sure, some are going to be stuffed in a garage or never driven over 60 mph for more than 30 seconds, but there is a driver base that wants to push the cars to the limit.

FINALLY, someone gets it! I'm sick of seeing all this whining over "cheater slicks", ignoring the fact that pretty much every sports/supercar on the market today is available with some kind of R-Compound tire. You can even get Mustangs with PZero Corsas as factory options nowadays!

And of course, they also overlook all the advantages the competition tends to have over any 'Vette. Like advanced electronics, AWD systems, and/or transmissions that can literally shift faster than the blink of an eye. And in the case of the Z06, the competition even has an HP advantage more often than not. I tell ya', some people just can't be happy unless they've got something to hate.

Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires are DOT-legal, and are available on several other cars, including the Porsche GT2 RS and Viper ACR, both of which ran their N'Ring times on them. Quit bitching and get over it.
