BMW M5 Competition 0 - 200 kph

autozeitung figures are usually quite optimistic, but not on this level.

for reference:
m5 cs: 9.8
m3 cs: 9.9

somehow the m5 comp: 9.3?!

Yeah, the 9.3 was likely a misprint.

Compared with E63S AMG Estate:
0-50 kph: 1,4 s
0-100 kph: 3,3 s
0-150 kph: 6,5 s
0-200 kph: 11,3 s

This M5 however:
0-50 kph: 1,3 s
0-100 kph: 2,9 s
0-150 kph: 5,9 s
0-200 kph: 9,3 s

The 100-150 gap between the two cars was only 0.2 second apart. I don't believe the E63S was a whopping 2.0 seconds behind from 0-200.

Even the much faster Porsche Taycan Turbo S:
0-50 kph: 1,2 s
0-100 kph: 2,7 s
0-150 kph: 5,4 s
0-200 kph: 9,6 s

I'm surprised BMW would've let this be faster then the M8 Competition as well...

The CS has stats going up to 9.7 and this is somehow supposed to do 9.3? Yeah I call bullshit

I believe that would be more like a timing error.

WTF? No way it does 0-200 in 9.3 sec!

Does anyone want to hazard a guess as to why there is such a big discrepancy in 0-200 km/h acceleration figures for the BMW M5 Comp?

More Autozeitung BS acceleration figures. Here's an acceleration run with AutoTopNL admittedly slightly damp conditions which affected traction from 0-100 coming in at 3.55(no roll-out) 100-200 kmh(no traction problems) 6.96 sec. So if we factor in a possible 2.95 0-100 kmh with roll-out(impossible without) then the best possible time is 0-200 km/h is 9.91 not 9.3 lol

Faster than tuned M5 CP with 700-730hp seems legit, lol
