Yep that's pretty much on the money as this test reveals. Given that it's a dynojet the drivetrain losses are more like 12% so the non competition version is approx 528hp and the comp around 550hp as you've said.

With some serious tyres (i.e Cup2) it would have probably bested the r8 and maybe even the 992 Carrera S

Yeah it's mad fast! Almost as fast as the old M4 GTS (which did 1.13.87), even though the new m4 competition is a lot less extreme and more comfortable (Quattroruote gave it 3.5/5 in comfort, which is a pretty good score for a sportcar). It gives the Cayman 718 gt4 a run for its money and even the 992 Carrera S is not far away (only a 0.7s difference). It's also faster than the Taycan Turbo S (which is the fastest saloon ever tested at Vairano). I wonder if the AWD version would have been even faster...
