Facelift is hardly even faster than the old Turbo. How disappointing

sorry, but have you learned anything from being on this site? Porsche gives manufacturer conservative figures. In real life, people get faster times, especially in better than average conditions... unlike Americans who give figures for the best of times.

We don't know how much faster the new one will be. But in a comparison of apples to apples. Porsche said the pre-facelift would take 8.9s to get to 200kph, yet it was able to do it in 8.1s in the best of conditions.

Safe to say, if they said the new one would do it in 8.4s, we will certainly see 7.Xs. 0.5s faster to 200kph is quite a lot for a facelift.

Yeah one thing's for sure, this thing isn't doing 7.6 seconds 0-200. The air is always getting thinner when you get faster.
Sure it will be faster than claimed, but with the almost 1800kg DIN weight it might not be as competitive as people think. Ferrari is lighter, McLaren is much lighter. And if that battery power is out, it essentially becomes a 992.1 Turbo S with more weight to drag around.

People overrate this snobbish brand so much, I don't mind rubbing some salt in the wound.
