McLaren P1 1/4 mile

Bro it takes 9.9 seconds to get to 150 mph how it would get to 152.2 mph in a tenth less? Put the MotorTrend 2014 1/4 time it's 9.8 seconds @ 148.9 mph.

No P1 has ever even trapped that high. It's faster than a LaFerrari, but not that fast. This was back in the days when McLaren wasn't constantly underrating car performance.

So therefore this manufacturer claim needs to be removed as that's exactly all it is! A claim until McLaren prove it wrong or someone else. I absolutely WELCOME it!

It can DEFINITELY achieve 9.8 seconds to the 1/4 mile but 152MPH trap speed immediately rang alarm bells because it was DEFINITELY too high!

I tried to find a primary press release from McLaren but the metrics are no longer listed. So Autocar from that specific time frame is as good if not better!
