The Weissach-package with rear seat delete makes no sense whatsoever - just get a GT3 RS if you want to go on the track so badly. Buying a "track car" that weighs 5'000 lbs is just idiotic. At least the normal Turbo GT can still be considered a 4-dr-saloon and offers some qualities besides going fast.

I agree and it seems like a very silly move by Porsche. I thought they were better than that... What's next, a super Cayenne with only one factory seat, Cup R-tires and less ground clearance than a normal 911?

0-60 and laptime fans
If it was only for 0-60 fans that would be lame. But if it includes laptimes, it basically means overall performance.
Performance is not everything, even for supercars. But it is important and it is a lot more than 0-60.

Regarding performance, a laptime tells more a car performance than pretty much every straight line data combined
