The Ford Mustang Dark Horse models come standard with 305/30R19 (front) and 315/30R19 (rear) tires. The Dark Horse Handling Package also features the Pirelli P Zero Trofeo RS with the standard staggered wheels (19-inch-by-9.5-inch front, 19-inch-by-10-inch rear).
The C6 Corvette base models with the Z51 package came with standard staggered wheels (18-inch-by-8.5-inch front, 19-inch-by-10-inch rear). Stock sized Hoosier Track Attack Pro tires should give the 700 lbs lighter Corvette a big advantage in cornering. Both the Hoosier and Trofeo R are streetable track tires with similar grip. A track day at Thunderhill West will be necessary to find out for sure.

The Mustang Dark Horse with six speed manual has similar acceleration to the C6 Corvette, but it is equipped with Pirelli Trofeo R tyres. I think that the new Hoosier Track Attack Pro is at least as fast a tyre and it comes in the C6 Corvette sizes.
