The CLA 45 SB is only a second off the E63 T and RS6 despite the much inferior power and peak speed! The handling is seriously impressive for a mostly FWD car

Saw someone (probably hans disguised @Corvolet3 ) on the A45 say ‘the only reason it got a 1:35.74 is cuz of Trofeo R! It would be 1:39 on regular PS4S.’

Well here we are, heavier CLA 45 S on PS4S is at a still respectable 1:37

Done at 21 degrees, could be a mid to high 1:36 in cooler conditions, matching the Audi RS3’s 1:36.63

Honestly the only thing holding this car back is the engine. I'm not saying it's bad, but if it was a longitudinal V6 system then it would be bonkers. But alas, it would have been made from scratch

More like 2 series but yeah, something along those lines. But I doubt they're gonna make anything serious of the new CLA. They clearly focus more on electric models there.
