Great tire comparison by Car & Driver - According to their article they ran the car on standard Pirelli P Zero PZ4-tires in 3:01.9 minutes and with Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R in 2:52.9 min. Goes to show how much of a difference semi-slick-tires can make.

Further proof these laptimes can be a load of bollocks, the 2016 R8 V10 Plus did a 2:56.20, I know this has Trofeo R tyres but even so...

Yeah but I saw the video and the guy wasn’t even trying and I’m pretty sure he was driving in eco mode with the gearbox in auto
