Says a lot about the dynamics of a car when a Renault Megane is faster than a TT RS with 100 PS more.

French have always made dynamically good little hatchbacks. Peugeot 205, Citreon Saxo, Clio Williams. I've maxed the VTS between Sheffield and Manchester as the A road opened up into the motorway. And indicated 129MPH. ROFL!

Check the times carefully...
TT RS did 1 minute and 36.5 seconds so its much faster than the Megane.
Even old TT RS plus is faster.

Probably got lucky. At the end of the day it's an emotionless luxury Beetle that can't decide if it's trying to be a sports car or a 2 door compact car.

It is compact car in coupe body. And that "luxury Beetle" beat that empty shell Megane which should be fast on track but its not because even "luxury Beetle" is much faster.
