AMuS did 1:40.2 in a Mercedes AMG GT3, so the McLaren Senna could compete with GT3 cars?

I reckon the Senna lap of 1:40.79 at Hockenheim is dodgy as fcuk. When one compares Gebhardt's lap to Duncan Tappy's the speed comparisons at 4 different points are way too big. Here are the 4 examples in km/h at the same point on the track with both cars using GPS speedo figures.
Tappy-230 Gebhardt-239
Tappy-169 Gebhardt-175
Tappy-265 Gebhardt-277
Tappy-136 Gebhardt-149
Tappy is generally faster than Gebhardt and there's no way he's gonna be 3.6 sec slower that Gebhardt in the same car at Hockenheim. Gebhardt's Senna was definitely producing more power than Tappy's. More dodgy bullshit from Sport Auto

Let's compare the Senna vs Pista at Magny Cours which has basically the same average lap speed to Hockenheim. The Senna did 1:42.99 vs Pista 1:44.90 so a 1.9 sec difference which is realistic. Senna was on TrofeoR's whereas Pista was on Cup2R's, driver was Romain Monti for both cars. I don't know how much faster the Cup2R's are over the TrofeoR's per lap but i guess it's less than 1 sec? The point is that the Senna should not be any more than 2-3 sec faster than the Pista on most tracks which is why this lap time is unbelievable...

And finally proof that Gebhardt is not only quick in Porsches! (Shitstorm go...) Yes, maybe McLaren also sends cars to tests sometimes that are quicker than customer cars (Ferrari, Porsche discussion), but still... If it is in the 1:40s thats insanely quick no matter how hard it was tuned... And yes, I'm also aware of the famous grain of salt, but even after having it for a good reason, it is still impressive.

That's really a mindblowing time. The time the Senna had before (1:44,4 by Duncan Tappy) was good but something that could be expected. This is just another dimension, showing the true potential of this beast. But the rear wing is still ugly... XD

Now that’s a proper effort in the car. This car should be faster absolutely everywhere around the track than anything else. That’s about 2 seconds slower than a pole position gt3 car and matching some of the slower qualifiers. I guess this track there’s less fast corners like Silverstone where aero and balance make a much bigger difference
