VW Golf GTI TCR lap time at Hockenheim Short

Good laptime, but I always wished the Golf GTI TCR was a bit more hardcore, a bit more of a ‘TCR’ if you will

That is an excellent lap time for a Golf GTI TCR. It is impressive in my opinion. I am looking at the cars that are not as quick at Hockenheim Short and some are very fast cars.

I think it’s good, the car has a good suspension for laptimes as well as daily comfort and the Michelin Cup tires help. It’s a good all round car that I prefer to the i30 N and Megane RS Trophy for its depth of ability

the golf has a good chassis, but your corvettes time was done on goodyear eagle f1 tires from 2005, which chevy themselves replaced with michelins in 2007-2008 i believe

i think if u put some decent cup tires onto the vette, another second to second and a half should be possible
