The lap time isn't 7:39.28. The stopwatch used relied on a 1/30 scale instead of 1/100. 28/30 is equal to roughly 93/100. So the final lap time was 7:39.93.

If Ford made a better SVT package and cut down the full weight to the front wheels, no kidding, this'll blow away the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, Lexus LFA Nurburgring Package, Dodge Viper ACR, and Gumpert Apollo Sport at the Nordschleife. My guess:

Yes. I deleted it.The videos origins are from a forum thread without a reputable source.Ford supposedly sent it to a pretty weird mustang forum without any proof that it came from ford at all.There is also no clock and ford will not confirm a time. They also wont confirm that the car was a production model.Its very possible that ford didnt run the car at all. This could be a private individual in a modified car.This is also the only website to decide on a definitive time as far as I know. :I will leave it if people want it.
