Just as fast as a brand new Carrera GTS. Interesting

On the same tires, I predict:
2003 to 2011 Mercedes-Benz E-Class AMG sedan (either powertrain/generation) = 7:53
2004 to 2010 BMW M5 sedan = 7:36
2002 to 2010 Audi RS6 sedan (either powertrain/generation) = 7:48

Great lap time!
Bravo to Sport Auto for doing such things, but there is still a slight tang of bitterness from the likely shenanigans common to Porsche.
If we look at the peak speeds on the straights in the available runs, the picture is following, kph (Sport Auto HvS / Evo Basseng / Sport Auto Bergmeister):
Schwedenkreuz - 256 / 271 / 276
Fuchsrohre - 240 / 256 / 266
Kesselchen - 237 / 242 / 260
Dottinger Hohe - 294 / 295 / 303
I don't know the fate of this particular Porsche, but apparently it has noticeably increased in power over 20 years)
I can still explain the increase in speed on the Fuchsrohre, Kesselchen sections partly by increased corner exit speed due to more tire grip, but the Schwedenkreuz and Dottinger can't be that much faster due to that.
This is reminiscent of the 959 test, when they hit 200 in 11.4 seconds on a clearly modified car, and they cited that 2 seconds were cut by modern tires (total bullshit).
I'm still a big fan of Carrera GT and pretty sure, that even without the power increase, the time was probably still at least 7:15.

Faster than 918
Cayman GT4 RS Manthey
And even Taycan Turbo GT on Trofeo RS tires
Bruhh...

That's without TC, ABS, or ESC. Impressive. Yes, I think an Enzo and a McLaren F1 both would do a 7:11 on new tires.
