What an amazing saloon - ultra-fast with old-school RWD and optionally even a manual trans. To me, this is the pinnacle of sedan performance - slap some semi slicks on it and it'll hurt some serious feelings on that lap time list.

That is obviously true (I only see it now that these are manufacturer lap times) although I don't think the times seem to be TOO good. C&D managed a 2:56.8 with the old CTS-V and a 2:50.1 with the somewhat comparable Camaro ZL1. So with the newer tires and everything I suppose also C&D might get close to these times. Maybe we'll find out in the future.
