Ferrari LaFerrari lap time at Red Bull Ring

Great lap time! Very nice. LaFerrari is so amazing and beautiful.

the is that ferrari is afraid that 918 and p1 will beat it if they are tested in the same track.this is not what i say,i have heard some rumours about it.

Why does Ferrari really ban laptimes for a stock version of its car? I guess they wanna beat McLaren and Porsche??? I don't know....I read somewhere that the LaFerrari must be forced to beat a P1 and 918.

Well, besides the 3 main straights, there are alot of heavy braking zones that 918 could take some advantage. Also, after corner 2 and 3, you would be able to came out faster with the 918 than the P1 and LaF, causo of it's AWD system.
It would be a really close comparo IMO, but i don't see the P1 beating the 918.

What will Ferrari do if someone brings P1 or 918 to the same track? Disown the owner of this LaFerrari and ban him for life from owning a Ferrari?

Although I do bet that the car was given more care for both driver, fuel loads and setups than what top gear merely did. But it's great to see the car has been seriously tested. This IS prominently a power heavy track, so it should wipe the floor with lambos and stuff. However, not to be overly joyous. It's still some over 9 seconds slower than a GT3 car over such a distance. At this pace, if the same GT3 car took 625-630 to lap the Ring, the Ferrari would have taken over 7 minutes.

But again the 599xx would have finished the 20.6km configuration in about 6:54, and according to Ferrari, the Laferrari is some 2.7s slower than the fxx at the short fiorano track alone.

Its a great result.
