to be honest, a good proportion of the lap time difference is the driver. the track doesn't "evolve" that much. At the time of testing this car, it was the fastest lap they ever done. And the more cars and laps he's done, the quicker he's gone. To be fair, he's not a professional, and they have limited time and tires for filming. They only do like 3 laps and call it a day.
and besides, looking at the onboard, it was quite a larry and bumpy ride.

Agreed, on bumpy tracks like this it won’t fair as well as it did on Laguna Seca for example, and yeah driver skill is key, I don’t see the M4 CSL beating this by 3 seconds if the drivers had equal skill
