So clarifications report this car is on P Zero R tires.
I'm guessing it's something between a P zero and a P Corsa? looking to see if there are any tyre tests to put in perspective where it sits in terms of grip

Not bad.
But they are a bit disingenuous when they say it is 14 seconds faster than prefacelift version, because that was Sport Auto and only a handful of laps.
I think in reality the difference in laptimes between 992.1 TS and 992.2 TS should be minimal. Something like ZR1 and ZR1 X.

I don't get it... You're on a bloody race track, setting a lap time that would be nearly on-par with the 918's 6:57 20600m lap. And you used P zero tires? not even Corsa? not trofeo R... and definitely not trofeo RS. The tire performance difference left on the table could be 2-3s per minute of lap.
Porsche will probably say that the Turbo S is the grand tourer, and not the heavier car that's probably not for people to use on the track...
Yet the 2300kg Taycan Turbo GT uses Trofeo RS tires?
This car definitely had the potential to do a 6:46-6:48.

So thats most likely a sub 7 lap on the 20.6 km route, pretty impressive for such ordinary tires
