Porsche does own more than half of manthey racing,so yes,technically its the owner...an saying that their record it's not a valid record,it's the same that saying if the record was with weissach package wasn't valid too....of course its a valid record,just because it's the better machine

I think this should be a separate model, like the P1 LM is on this site, since it isn't a production car, rather a modified/tuned car. Now you have it listed as a "stock" GT2 RS.

This GT2 RS is modified yes, but not dissimiliar to what Lambo did to do a lap record with the SVJ, Lamborghini is not selling an alignment and set up for the Nurburgring with the SVJ, hence it's not exactly stock either. At least Porsche is being transparent that this 2 RS set up is enhanced by Manthey Racing, one where people could actually get.
Though Lambo buyers has never been about laptimes, more bragging rights, so Lambo got that all set
