This laptime was done on new Trofeo RS tyres!
Best laptime on Cup 2R was 2:19.42
So, looks like we have Michelin Cup 2R officially dethroned now)

damn... the Trofeo RS was super fast over multiple laps, but the cup 2R was basically worst than a normal cup 2 after the 2nd lap.

Well, the 3rd and 4th laps they more or less keep close, but beyond that Cup 2 R just fails.
So we can conclude that Cup 2 R tires grip live no more than 10 minutes on the track.

And they are expensive asf to replace, no wonder Porsche are starting to use Trofeo RS on their newer cars like the Taycan Turbo GT Weisach.

The Hoosier Track Attack Pro is generally considered faster than the Pirelli Trofeo RS tires on track. This is based on actual magazine testing that I have read.

The Hoosier Track Attack Pro should be easy to drive on methinks, they have very little tread depth so they act somewhat like slicks with lots of dry grip, but they have easier break away characteristics. I am planning on replacing my Corvette's tires with the Hoosiers when I can afford them. According to testing the Hoosiers get faster as they wear down.
