These laptimes (from Steets of Willow)clearly show the falicy of trying to compare laptimes from different days and different drivers. So the ZO6 Carbon is more that 3 sec quicker than the ZR1, not a chance. The GT500 is ony a second behing the 458? In reality the ZR1 would be about ~ 1 second quicker than a Z06 Carbon. If you look down the list you can see that Edmunds tested a Z06 Carbon at a time of 1:24. So you can see how much of a difference a good driver and better track conditions can make in a lap time. People take these laptimes as the be all end when in many cases it is far from the truth.

David, there\'s no disparity here, Streets of Willow is the 1.8 mile track, Willow Springs Raceway is the 2.5 mile one.

Phavyarden, this was done on Streets of Willow (1.8 miles), not the big track (2.5 miles). Hence the disparity of lap times. Both tracks are on the same property..
