This lap seems a bit fishy. Either Randy wasn't giving it his all, or the M8 wasn't in top condition. Feels like it should be able to do a high 1:29.

That's almost 2 sec slower that the AMG E63S? Something wasn't quite right and the GPS speedo wasn't reflecting the acceleration capability of the M8...

BMW doesn't pay for Motortrand thats why results in german magazines are so different.
This is real performance of this car.

It was on Michelin 4S tires, which could explain a lot. Big willow is all about constant sweeping corners and big top end speeds in between. Nonetheless, a top speed of just 128mph doesn't sound right. Maybe it was too hot and the car was losing power. Considering a GT3 RS hit 138mph in the WET, and a 500hp 911 GT3 hit 150mph, 128mph is definitely too low.

This is the lap and the GPS speedo is way off eg. 100-115 mph in 5.5 sec?? There's probably 2 sec difference between the 4S and say Cup2's but even without them it should've done a 1:29 to 1:30 lap at the very least.
