Audi TT RS Coupe lap time at Contidrom (3.3 km)

Ive been hearing for literally years that Audi was planning a Super lightweight car, But nothing. And even if they did make a new SuperCar, I HIGHLY doubt it would be under 3000Lbs, Let alone 1000Kg. Audi isn't really the company to ook for if you want Super lightweight, but then again lightweight today is 3100Lbs. How many cars these days weight under 3000Lbs? practically none. If they can do it great, But being an AUdi, and with there Luxury and safety, and there standars, I doubt it.

And speaking of the Quattro, That SportQuatro Concept, Just make the thing already, We al want it, AUdi fans or not, I don't see why they need to make a million versions of the same concept car.

Build it and I will buy it...(Okay prolly not, but still build it)

Mental..Why not? Even the TT-RS weight under 1500 kg. Carbonbody and other parts comes to that lightweigth TT;)

I've heard rumors that the production version of the Sport Quattro will weigh approx 1300 kg, using updated Turbo Inline-5 engine out of TT-RS.

The tiny RWD Alfa 4C with tiny 1.75 liter engine weighs barely below tonne. So there's no chance quattro Audi will weigh so low by today's standards.

...I don't see ANY Audi even coming close to weighing 1000Kg now adays, Nor do I see any manufaktur making weight savings like that, WHats the most weight a cars EVER gotten taken out of if? What 498Lbs by the Veneno?..MOST is only 100Kg.

Damn, it's fast. I can only imagine, how fast the 1000 kg Audi TT Ultra is in future on the tracks. Hope so it get TT-RS engine with +380 hp.
