Thunderhill Park West lap times

Looking at the lap times, it appears that Jethro Bovingdon is a better driver than either Mike Austin or Travis Okulski.

1997 Corvette with Yokohama A052 tires and Carbotech brakes. Very skillful driving, I will need to study the braking points and racing lines.

I just found the video below, the driver said he is using Toyo RR tyres, but I don't know what modifications he has done to his Corvette. I will be analyzing this video.

This is my local race track, it is an hour North of me. I am thinking of doing track days starting next year. My current plan is to use Carbotech XP10/XP8 brake pads and Hoosier Track Attack Pro tyres. I will need a new helmet as well. Looking at the track and lap times, I think that with practice I should be able to get close to a 1:25ish lap time. Maybe even faster with those Hoosiers.

This track is only an hour North of Sacramento, so I might do a track day here sometime.

Looking forward to driving Thunderhill West for the first time later this week. Have been practicing in Assetto Corsa, with the stock MX-5 ND1. Hitting 1:33s, fastest I've done is 132.6. My real car is an ND2 (30AE), stock except for a new set of RT660s. Hopefully I can get under 1:40 by end of day. :D

Did a 1:31.97 in a nearly stock 2019 GTI yesterday. No power/engine mods, Falken Azenis 615K+ tires on the front, stock Potenza all seasons on the back, 25mm Eibach Rear Sway Bar.
