Funny thing is this comes to mind when I hear of a V6, particularly a 60-degree V6. I don't really care for a 60-degree V6. High-output ones like this one and the ones in many other Japanese cars tend to be the exception. In American cars, I'm absolutely not a fan. But the 60-degree V6, which is soon to be extinct, is still used in Honda's SUVs and minivans. I’ve always liked and respected 90-degree V6s because of the Buick 3800, not even counting Ferrari and McLaren's new V6s.
Nissan's GT-R, which somewhat derived from the later G37, is the single most iconic 60-degree V6 vehicle ever made. But, it's not the Corvette and 911 slayer as many people have thought it all out to be. Proportionally, it has always been more like an M3 or a CLK63 AMG Black Series than a proper supercar.
