The 1983 model year Mustang GT (I wrote 1982 year of introduction because selling began at second half of 1982). The MY1982 GT appeared with 157 HP but only after one year the engine upgraded with 18 HP and 5 lb-ft. This was the first Mustang with 5 speed manual. The old 4 speed was an option, those who ordered it received a credit of $124.
