dont listen to that hamepage crap its never 100% accurate. i work for amg and i can tell you right now that with all that said stuff in the car it for damn sure it aint over 5000lbs

actually it does 0-60mph in 3.7 seconds and 8.0 to 100mph, but they dont do 0-60mph on here cause there stupid lol jk

The torque doesn't really matter. It's force vs friction, which is power(or torque)/weight ratio.

yep and anyway with all that torque taking weight away actually wont make it too much quicker. road and track was actually 0.2 seconds slower 0-60 in the sl65 black series than in a "normal" sl65 amg.

The weight numbers are officle numbers from the AMG homepage. This car is a fully loaded luxury GT not a sportcar... massage seats with neck heating costs lot of weight

@wads you have added the maximal allowed weight wich is indeed 2365kg including driver/codriver and fully load of baggage. 2045kg is the curb weight... drive ready with filled up fuel tank or 2120kg after EU weight norm including 75kg driver + curb weight

That weight is totally wron, its 800lbs TOO heavy, i dont know who got that big of a difference weight wrong?

OMG, does mercedes deliberatly try to make the heaviest cars possible?? Can you imagine if it was 1000 pounds lighter, like it should be. What makes this car so heavy. And why would mercedes allow it to weigh so much? I love it but not the weight.
