True, but the 550i is still quicker than the S6 C6 in a straight line. The S6 ran mid 13's if I'm not mistaken, while the 550i runs low 13's.

I think he's saying that the 550i is the S6's competitor and not an A6 3.0l competitor.

what do you mean 550 is a rival to a s6? a fact that the top models in bmw range hold their own, and hold their own good, against the audis s's, and the magazines are comparing them, doesnt make a car without special division badge a rival to one with it.
