There is no "458 Italia Spider"
There is only "458 Italia" or "458 Spider"

@BR2/Hamcee
Yes, I meant the profile picture.

User avatar

Viking  12y ago

I think the speed at the end of the 1/4 mile is wrong (211 mph?). Probably just a typo (it could be 121 mph). Also the curb weight is about 100 kg too low I think. The 458 Italia, and the 458 Spider should be similar in weight, so one of the pages must be wrong.

ddd  12y ago

@Shaggy where do you see that Spider is faster than coupe ?

User avatar

Hamcee  12y ago

well, those are standard rims, you are right.

guess he meant the profile picture

User avatar

BR2'  12y ago

1st pic, left, not Profile pic i was referning too.

User avatar

Shaggy  12y ago

How in the world can the Spider be faster than the coupe?!

User avatar

Hamcee  12y ago

nope, those are novitec rims in the profile picture

User avatar

BR2'  12y ago

Those are standard production rims.

User avatar

Fangio Man  12y ago

The car in the first picture has tuning rims.

User avatar

What ? The current 0-200 for Italia spider is 9,8 s.

For Italia 9,17s and 9,4s.

User avatar

Psycho  12y ago

So the Spider is faster than the Italia? How can that happen with the identical power to weight ratio?

User avatar

A.Z  12y ago

thank you

Ridiculous 'Ring and 1/4 Mile times aside, how can there be a 2010 458 Spider, when the thing wasn't even unveiled until September of 2011 at the Frankfurt Motor Show?

User avatar

Vette/Viper  13y ago

11 flat @ 211 mph...

And I thought the 991 Carrera doing 12.4 @ 185 mph was fast!!!1111!!1

User avatar

Jeff B  13y ago

User avatar

Hayes  13y ago

Great ... better than the California GT

User avatar

Im not a fan of this, but if its one thing Ferrari can make, its a DropTop, and they make it without loosing any of the great shape, unlike some companys.
