BTW the CCR factory laptime at the Ring was even worse than the sportauto tested laptime

the Civic has no good top endspeed... the Type R both the current nad the last generation reached with 200hp 235km/h.. the same speed the GTI reached with 200hp.. the 02 Astra OPC reached with 200hp 240km/h thats a good top end even the 200hp BMW 1series diesel is faster than the Civic with 238km/h... on the Autobahn at high speeds the Civic sucks

Screw the CCR as with that much power it should do 7:15s at the ring and yet this is supposed to be a track car?? If it is a better top end car who cars, even a Honda civic has a good top end. Give up on the CCR already.

most likely yes, but they test all cars with traction controll turned off ...
oh and one word from sportauto about high perfomance and semi slick tires... the temperature at the wet handling test has even more impact than it has in the dry...
semi slicks performe good to excellent in the wet, if it is realy hot and they get the heat into the tires... vor example they explain the not so good e92 M3 wet handling laptime with the argument that it was very cold the day they tested the M3 equipped with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires, no chance to heat up the tires to get them to working temperature in the wet. Most likely same happen during the ZR1 test... unfortunatily they only publish the weather data from the Hockenheim and northloop track test in their supertest...

The CCR has much longer gearing for high speed driving up to 400km/h... this takes away a lot of sharp uncontrolled reaction to acceleration... why should they play bad with the ZR1... in the same test the ZR1 reached at the Hockenheim racetrack a top10 finish ahead cars like the CCR, GT-R, Scuderia, Zonda F, GT3, RT-12 ...the wet handling test only shows that in wet condition the ZR1 is extrem difficult to drive fast with turned OFF traction systems

Its still a very weird time, Considering how powerfull the King Eggs is, and the GT3 which has semi-slicks, and, im not sure but dont semis work horrid in the wet? and the Superleggera and the SL Black Series beats it with its Monstrous Torque, and its alot heavier, i mean i know its a powerfull rwd car, but having all those cars beat it with tyres that werk less in the rain and have more power and less torque, is just a time that terns out to be very weird, are the ZR1's tyres that bad, or is it somthing else? i mean i couldnt care about a wet lap, but somthing smells fishy.

vette zr1:Michelin Pilot Sport 2 tires measure P285/30ZR19 in front and P335/25ZR20
koenigsegg ccr: * Michelin Pilot Sport 2 tires. Unidirectional with asymmetric tread pattern.
* Front: 255/35–19"
* Rear: 335/30–20"
wider ?

@georg good point but it was beaten by the scuderia, ford gt and ccr. the ccr has alot of power

wet laps for high power high perfromance RWD cars with huge rear tire size are always bad... no it is not weird...the tested car was equipped with Michelin Pilot Sport (better for dry grip than the Goodyear on the Z06 testcar but worse perfromance in the wet) and as always all electronic assist systems turned off... the huge torque at low reves is a problem for the ZR1 in the wet... there it becomes a victim to pretty much everything

Still a time weird, i know is a powerd rwd supercar, but even,is just a time wierd no?
