In the US, these things were the original Civic FK8 and FL5 Type R, plus the rear driveshaft.

@fastestlaps please change the torque to 392 Nm

FastestLaps  4y ago

Just some minor modifications (ECU flash & homemade plywood aero parts here & there) and you can get this car go faster than any race car, save for prototypes.

Easy!

Delete the Nordschleife time, it is the Nordschleife BTG time, the 1.5km shorter part of a track.
Evolution IX is not faster than a Ferrari Enzo on a Nordschleife, for God sake.
You have put 2 different times for a same Nordschleife track ;)

take the evo ix fq 300 h mr or the 360hp fq mr and will see wich is facter is even faster than the rs 500 and is stock cars also

Couldnt have said it better fastestlaps.

I owe nothing to anyone. If I cant save my money and buy something out right then I dont want it. I've never taken out a loan on a car or anything else.

Here in the U.S you can save a huge amount of money by paying up front for your car. That way you are not required to get expensive full coverage insurance!

:D It is unbelievable what spammers are doing now. Advertising online "meds" stores or "cheap insurance" sites - at least that I can understand from a spammers standpoint. But a PR campaign intended to spam Google search results with positive comments about taking loans and mortages - that is something new. Unbelievable!

well said fastestlaps!

Loans will ruin your life. Loans = misery. Loans = poverty, loans = lifelong physical and mental suffering. Don't anyone dare even think about ever getting a mortgage or loan of any kind because that will destroy you and your family!!!
** LOANS ARE EVIL!!!**

People deserve good life and mortgage loans or bank loan would make it better. Just because people's freedom depends on money.

Why is it that 1/4 mile times / MPH are accepted as legit but not 0-60mph times?

For the power to weight ratio you use [quote]bhp / tonne\" but for weight distribution you use standard weight in as it is in the U.S.

For engine power you use both and for max speed you use both

Why not use both 0-60mph and 0-100kph? Why the double standard?

User avatar

Rick James  15y ago

Yeah that 12.7 1/4 mile time MAKES NO SENSE WHATSOEVER. It\'s a lot more like 13.7

User avatar

gordonisa  15y ago

Naoki Hattori hit a 12.6 stock in this car. Its on youtube.

User avatar

ilanmontreal  15y ago

There is no way an Evo stock has a 12.6 1/4mile ET thats way too good... Doesnt make sense with a 5.8 0-100kmh...

User avatar

Inline 6 rules  16y ago

It was tested by a German magazine.

User avatar

Kakihara  16y ago

no way a stock evo 9 is doing 0-200km/h in 20.7s on a flat road with no helping wind
I'm far from it and I did 0-100km/h in 5,615s on a perfectly flat and well maintained military airport with all the wind information I could get so I dare say that this 20.7s is bull
I did 21.5s fyi my shifting may not be the best but to loose 1.2s between a good 0-100 & 200km/h I doubt it

User avatar

BumRush  17y ago

torque is 289lb ft. thought ide let ya no.

User avatar

Anonymous  17y ago

does anybody know the Coefficent Drag of this???

User avatar

Anonymous  17y ago

Scuse me, slower.

User avatar

Anonymous  17y ago

The 0-60mph is 4.9, so why would 62mph or 100kmh be .9 seconds faster??

User avatar

Axlll1  17y ago

0-100: 5,7s

Evo IX has 286bhp!

This car with six-speed manual gearbox is called EVO IX MR in US. This EVO IX MR (US spec) propelled by the same 286-horsepower engine as the IX GSR but with a six-speed manual and a Bilstein suspension.
And on Reno-Fernley Raceway, it is 2:34.363.
http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/sedans/112_0801_mitsubishi_lancer_evolution_comparison/conclusion.html
The 5th paragraph, EVO IX MR get 2:34.363.

For Reno-Fernley Raceway:

MotorTrend said:
we brought along an Evo IX GSR (more commonly known as the straight IX or just IX)
on the 7th line of the second paragraph. There is no so called GSR in US, this is exact the EVO IX.

I wanted to know if my 2nd hand car (stock) was okay so I did a single run :
5,61s 0-100kph; 21.71s 0-200kph; 13,76s 1/4 mile; 0-160kph 13.157s
I know it's not official times it's just to show that your numbers looks okay.
