Only in the 2000s you could buy a hatchback with equal to worse consumption than a 911 or Corvette.

Well my friend,
The 147 GTA has front suspension with double wishbones that is a real rarity for a car of this segment. Correctly we call it ‘high quadrilateral’ because, in their connection to wheel knuckle, the arms of the suspension design, exactly, a figure with four sides.
Thanks to suspension geometry It has been allowed a strong inclination of the axis steering towards the front of the car (positive angle of caster) that give a progressive effort on steering wheel that increase uniformly till adhesion limit and assuring greater precision and sensibility of the steering also under strong angles (es tight curves ).
The most important limit of the car is the lack of a front limited-Slip differential. I have talked with my Alfa Romeo collegues and I will assembly very soon an Alfa Q2 system that it’s fully compatible with the GTA.
Last but not least, the selespeed gearbox supplied by Magneti Marelli. A lot of people doesn’t know Magneti Marelli supplied to Ferrari the F1-gearbox system from first launch on F355 to the last application in 599 GTO …. I will improve it without any reliability loss.
You know I’m getting old … my green english bath tube was great, fast but not so comfortable. Check this

Hi, it is really powerful but definitely no 4wd. Mine is certainly not = no problems in cold winter time in CH and great fun driving with :-)
