weight distribution is 54/46 acording to autobild. this is very good for an audi.

PS
modify please, this engine is a single turbo and not a twin turbo

the other car is an BMW 530d GT

in the picture from bellow , I do not understand what car is the other in the comparison.
what I can see from that picture is a very good acceleration for the A7, a very good lap time but poor brakes and a lot of noise in the interior.

anyway, this is a single turbo engine and not a twin turbo.

please corect it in the data base.

@georg
what i\'m trying to say is the maximum torque wich the s-tronic can handle is 500Nm and this is the reason why the A7 doesn\'t have the 250HP and 550Nm variant of the 3.0tdi like the a8 has.

maybe this is the reason why the a7 has only 245hp and 500nm.

from my knowledge , the dual cloutch from the audi can handle a maximum of 500NM.

correct me if i\'m wrong.

V8 TDI makes sense here.

@anonim

the 7speed dual clutch can handle the torque...the A7 is only avaible with dual clutch transmission so far..

maybe what I\'m saying is stupid, but I thing that this car does not have the 250ps and 550nm version because the double clutch gear box of the a7 can\'t handle more than 500nm of torque.

Why it doesn\'t get the A8\'s version of the 3 liters turbodiesel (250 PS, 550 Nm)?

The engine is single turbo not twinturbo, it has one variable geometry turbocharger. If it has twinturbo the torque would be ca. 600 Nm. BMW has a 3 liters single turbo diesel engine with 245 PS and 540 Nm. It would be a huge shame for the Audi, if its 3 liters diesel engine with twinturbo produces the same power and less torque than the BMW's single turbo engine. Please correct it! Thanks!
