@ Fangio Man: You're right, the front profile reminds me of a C2 and C3 Corvette Stingray, and if you'll notice, the hood looks like the stinger hood Chevrolet used to put on a lot of their big block muscle cars, but that's a Ford engine under it.

@ Mental: I think I know why, GM got rid of their 327 C.I. Chevrolet V8 in 1969 and their 427 C.I. engine in 1970. The 327 had no replacement, the 427 was stroked to 454 Cubic inches. Iso still should have gone with Chevrolet engines, There were still the 302, 350, 396, 400, 402, and 454, all very powerful.

This model was a fail. Why did they change GM 327/427 engines to heavy, less powerful Ford Cleveland? This was the last model produced by Iso before they went bankruptcy.
