It is a cockroach.
It is a cockroach? :D

The face of this car reminds me very much the muzzle of the huge evil cockroach from 'Men in Black 1' :D

It looks like a really pissed off cottonmouth. This car will probably scare children back into their homes and give senior citizen drivers a heart attack. It must be face lifted because the one I saw on Top Gear wasn't menacing, just really ugly.

Jesus, that is one evil looking car. It's got a face that could scare a Cobra. Think I'd crap my pants if I saw that thing in my rearview at night. :O

The car has a face. It's like a jack-o-lantern. The ultimate halloween car!

Well i dont really car about that, a Saleen S7 550 will set you back £247,000 British Pounds, and a Saleen S7 TwinTurbo will set you back £287,000, that does not include a dealer markup, and since when does the USA sell the S7 for a low price? the S7 550 sets you back $395,000, and that doesnt include a dealer markup, and a S7TT you pay $575,000, so cheap? i dont think so, anyway you look at it an S7 is a much better buy in my opinion, this may have exclusivity, but what one would you have? i know my answer, and im pretty sure th S7 550bhp would prolly beat this round track, but i cant be too sure it does have 50 more horses and its lighter, but i dont know, all im syaing is that its quite expensive, and there are alot of better cars for less out thre, no matter wher you live.

don´t compare europen prices with US prices... you don´t get a S7 in Europe for the low price you pay in the USA... in Germany the basic saleen S7 with 550hp already costs as much as this Veritas RS3 north of 330,000Euro, the S7 Turbo 750hp version already costs 450,000Euro...

Uhh, yes price IS the prolem, damn sure aint paying that much, could get a Saleen S7 for that much, and some.

$464,000!

How much is 290,000GB in Us dollars?

User avatar

Georg  17y ago

whats wrong with the price?

600hp V10 in a 30cars limited production run... there are less powerfull or less spectacular cars that cost two or three times the money and no one blames the price tag... good example Murcielago Reventon or Aston Martin one-77 both cost much more and both are much closer to "mass" production models

Stll not too keen on the £290,000 price tag,it loos better though.

No problem - done!

User avatar

Georg  17y ago

@fastestlaps can you delet the picturesof the concept car?

User avatar

Georg  17y ago

added more pictures of the production model

User avatar

Georg  17y ago

replaced the Concept car picture with the first picture of the production model! It recived a new designed front and engine hood... the production model will only be avaible with 600hp... the 480hp tested by TopGear was a pre prodcution testmule

i am curious at how fast the 600bhp version would do around the Top Gear Track? any guesses on Ring time?

User avatar

Anonymous  17y ago

Well, it did do the same time at the TG track as the R8, and the R8 has less power and more weight, but youll almost never see a car like this one so with that huge price tag i guess you (Almost) all you get is Extreme styling and exclusivity! but im not so sure its worth it either. and 246,000 is just for the 480bhp version, but it does look good!

User avatar

Anonymous  17y ago

£246,000? is it really worth it?? i mean it doesnt look too bad but thats alot of money!

the company confirmed that the Veritas RS3 went into production late 2008. Two models will be avaible a "small" V8 powerd with 353kW/480PS and one with a 5.0l V10 with 441kW/600PS. Both engines are from BMW. The Veritas was seen lately a lot during testing at the Ring. Perfromance numbers are factory claimed.
