Yeah, the low speed torque on the old 302 cu. in. is very good, but not much high end horsepower. Decent grip is available from the 245/45ZR-17 tires, but understeer is the primary cornering trait. Waterford hills is a tight hilly track with a steep uphill straight that rewards good torque. The Mustang is easy to drive, and does not require much skill to put down fairly good lap times. Too much understeer for really tight courses like an autocross, and not enough high end horsepower for big fast tracks like VIR. Waterford Hills is fine for the old Mustang GT though.
