The SCCA has classed both of these into E street for 2014. Most competitors have stated that the Spyder will easily beat the all models of Z3 including the M Roadster and M Coupe in Solo II. Horsepower helps a lot on big race tracks, but in tight courses not so much. On a Solo II course even the Spyder will only use the first three gears. In other words: lots of tight corners with very short straights, kinda like some of the best mountain roads out here.
